Great Success in DFG Funding: DFG Research Unit formally approved by the DFG on July 1st, 2026

We are excited to share that the DFG Research Unit FOR6037 "Multi-subunit RNA polymerases across all domains of life: Mechanisms underlying transcription activity and regulation" was officially approved by the German Research Foundation (DFG) on July 1, 2026.
The research unit is led by Prof. Dr. Claus-D. Kuhn as spokesperson, together with Prof. Dr. Lydia Herzel (FU Berlin) as co-spokesperson.
